Three Red Lines
Simple side-view 2D/3D RTS game set during the Napoleonic Wars. Take command over a few British redcoat companies and win the day over your French foe (or suffer a terrible defeat...).
What's inside?
- Plenty of musket volleys and bayonet stabbing.
- Unusual, side-view perspective of the battlefield (with 2D sprites fighting in the 3D world).
- 3 different types of units to command: line infantry, light infantry and militia.
- Morale and stamina system.
- 3 scenarios ready to play.
It's an upload of my old, a bit unpolished project, I hope you'll enjoy it! If you play it, please, rate or leave a comment! 🫡

I made a napolionic wars game in scratch and i was wondering if you would like to play it: https://scratch.mit.edu/projects/995115496/
also please tell me what i could add/remove
Sure! I’ll take a look and try to give you some feedback there!
cool game but is it possible to add other units like cannons and cavalry
this is better than most Napoleonic Wars games i have played
There should be more games like this
why does the '1th' infantry regiment exist?
Fair point! I’m afraid that all companies’ numbers have just the “th” suffix added. It was supposed to be only a temporary solution, but here it stayed. 😂
Thank you, I appreciate your feedback! 🫡 Originally, I was planning to include cavalry and artillery, unfortunately I’ve never come to that point. It’s a pretty old project (created in 2021/2022) and honestly I doubt I’ll add any major improvements anytime soon, as currently I’m focusing on creating another Napoleonic Wars game (historical sailing simulator).
i have an idea why don't you add line officers to each regiment so it looks like the soldiers are taking orders from their officers
Yeah, that would be a nice touch! I had ideas of introducing some sort of chain of command, with for example orders carried to the officers by messengers and so on. I’m hoping to bring this sort of mechanics into my next game!
I like this
however when most of my army routes and like 1 line is left enemies just start running into the invisible wall at the edge of my side
Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, the “AI” works pretty randomly, so it might sometimes behave weirdly. Maybe in the future I’ll try to rework the enemy AI so it’s more consistent with its actions.
Wow, I'm amazed by this, I'm currently working on my own RTS game set in sort of the same time period but i can't even think how you made all this possible:)
Thank you, I’m glad you enjoyed it! I’ll definitely take a look at your project! :D
